The Prayer Shawl Ministry makes shawls for those who are ill, grieving, experiencing particularly challenging times or to those who are celebrating special joys.
Anyone interested in knitting or crocheting is welcome. Instruction is available at all meetings for anyone who has never knitted before. Come! You are welcome.
The 10th Annual Youth Car Wash will take place again on Sunday, July 10 and August 14, from 8:30am to 11:00am.
Cost: ANY donation
Please invite your neighbors to bring their cars for a wash. All proceeds go to support the Youth Mission and Chapel Choir.

In this kid-friendly café full of chef's hats and aprons, pots and pans, and checkered tablecloths, kids explore the Bible as a cookbook filled with recipes for living out God's word. Through interactive lessons, that are easy for kids to apply to their lives today, boys and girls will celebrate biblical festivals that reveal ingredients for being a follower of God.
July 27Let’s finish off the season of Wacky Wednesdays with some fun with water! There will be a variety of activities involving water including a water slid!!! Families are encouraged to come and join in the fun!

July 13What do you get when you put together a magician, a ventriloquist, and a bunch of carnival games? You get a crazy, fun, and magical evening evening! Peter Krouwer, a magician and ventriloquist will be performing for us. There will also be some carnival games and prizes!
Don’t forget your non-perishable food item!
On July 13th Young at Heart will be going to the Olive Tap at 5143, Mochel Drive in Downers Grove. We can park free at the Downers Grove parking garage. We will meet at the Olive Tap at 10:30AM. There is no fee for the tour. We will then walk over to Egg Harbor for lunch which will be at our own expense.
