Easter Flowers

Ordering for Easter flowers begins March 1. There are envelopes in the pews to be used for ordering. If you would like to purchase a plant, please fill out the information on the front of the envelope and enclose a check. You may indicate on the envelope if you would like the flowers in memory of someone or in honor of someone. Place your order in the offering plate on Sunday or bring it to the church office.

2016 Adult Mission Scholarship

Interested in giving your time and energy to others in a new meaningful way?

The Missions, Justice & Community work area is offering its fifth annual Adult Mission Scholarship, matching up to $1,000 in mission-related expenses, to a member of our church (age 18+) who wants to embark on a Christian mission trip in the coming year. Guidelines are specified on the application form below.

DGFUMC Summer Camp 2016 - Fearless Faith

What does it mean to be a part of a Christian community? How can the church be a resource that gives campers confidence and courage? Campers will explore how they themselves are a part of the Church and what that means about how we relate to one another and the world. Watch how the strength of Christian community casts out fear and replaces it with hope!

Lenten Season Parables Study

Join us for a short study of a few of Jesus' parables during this Lenten Season!

Each week we will be invited to focus on one of Jesus' parables. Each week's parable will be available on Sunday mornings and will include a few questions to get you thinking. The parables and questions will also be available online at dgfumc.org.

Church Budget Update - January 31, 2016

Since last week we have raised $5,100 of the needed $18,000 to close our budget gap. Additionally we have received $17,400 of the $30,000 in outstanding pledges.

We are grateful for this additional giving and ask any members who have not yet given to consider a special extra gift or pledge. One way the gap can be closed is if 120 households give an extra $150 for the year. You may use the form below to indicate your desire to contribute an additional gift.
