This fall you are invited to join an all church book study featuring Fear of the Other: No Fear in Love by William H. Willimon. In this book, Willimon invites readers to consider the gospel command to love (and not merely tolerate) those considered to be “Other” or outside mainstream Christian culture.
The study will run for five weeks and books can be purchased for $6.00 in the church office.

Join us for our combined Men’s and Women’s Annual Golf Outing. We will have all sorts of fun prizes for golfers of all abilities. You may also wish to invite some of your friends to join us as your guests.
The outing will be held at the Downers Grove Golf Club, with tee-off times beginning at 1:00 p.m. The registration fee, which includes green fees and prize fund, is $25 per person.

Fall is almost here and Friday Night at the Movies is ready to start up once again. Through the end of 2016, our theme will focus on Politics in the Movies, in “honor” of the 2016 presidential election. And by “politics,” we don’t mean to focus entirely on governmental issues. Our first film of the new season, Spotlight, takes us on an entirely different journey involving the politics of the Roman Catholic Church.
