Sing Into Spring!
Singers who want to join the Chancel Choir Spring Cantata should plan to attend rehearsals at 8:30pm, beginning on Thursday, February 23rd.
The cantata program will include "A Little Jazz Mass" by Bob Chilcott and "Songs of Faith" by Paul Basler.
Wesley's Great Experiment
Wanted: Ten Brave Christians
For One Month:
- Who will meet once each week to pray together
- Who will give 2 hours time each week to our church (self-surrender)
- Who will give God 1/10 of their earnings during this month (self-sacrifice)
- Who will commit to 30 minutes of prayer and meditation each day
- Who will witness for God their experience to others

Valentine's Day Youth Fundraiser
The youth will be baking and decorating cupcakes and heart shaped cakes for Valentine's Day to help raise money for Youth Activities.
The cost of a cake is $14 and cupcakes are $4. Cakes and cupcakes are available in both white and red velvet with your choice of butter cream or cream cheese frosting in either red or pink.
Super Saturdays - Movie Night!
Did you have fun at Wacky Wednesdays over the summer? If you did, then you will love Super Saturdays during the school year!
The Children and Family Work Area has planned five Super Saturdays!
The second one will be Saturday, January 21st from 6:30-8:30. This is for all children in 1st-6th grade. Just like with Wacky Wednesday there is no cost and EVERYONE is welcome.
Adult Volleyball is back!
Looking for something to do on Saturday mornings? Want to get some exercise and have fun at the same time?
Come join us for Saturday Morning Adult Volleyball. Play is semi-competitive with emphasis on exercize, teamwork, skill building, and fun! Men and women over 17 can enjoy a group sports activity in a friendly setting and get a good start to the weekend.
Mother-Daughter Tea Help!
Plans are underway for the Mother-Daughter Tea, which will be held on March 10th this year. We welcome anyone who is interested in helping with this fun event to please come forward! We have almost as much fun planning as we do at the event!

Flower Openings
There are flower openings on both sides of the sanctuary January 15th and January 22nd, and one side on January 29th. Please contact Nancy Toon at 630.201.7516.
2012 Offering Envelopes
A lot of you still have not picked up your 2012 offering envelopes. If you have not received them please pick them up in the church office. If you did not request envelopes or would like to sign up for ACH direct debit, please contact Carolyn Donnelly, financial secretary, in the church office.
PADS Giving
PADS is always in need of items of clothing. Help make someone's New Year a little brighter by donating socks, long underwear, flannel shirts, sweatshirts, and sweatpants. All must be new and at least a size large. Please bring to the church by January 15th.
Volunteer Youth Leaders Needed
We are in need for a few volunteer youth leaders. If you are interested in getting more involved, please contact the church office or JJ Mannschreck for more information.
Onward Bound and All Choirs
