Pastor Jim McDonald is leading mid-week conversations for faith-seekers and all wanting to explore their faith journey with honesty, mutual respect and openness to one another.

We will take turns choosing a book and leading that month's discussion.

The first Tuesday afternoon of each month, 1:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. beginning October 2.

The first book will be: Gilead by Marilynne Robinson

We'll be gathering in Open Door from 5-8PM on Super Bowl Sunday to watch the big game. Bring a canned good or donation for the People's Resource Center and a dish to share!

The congregation will soon have an opportunity to honor a loved one through our Sanctuary Window Memorial Project.

Plan on attending one of the presentations in Room 202; view the designs created by the artists, ask questions, and offer input.

Presentations will take place in Room 202 after ALL three services on Feb 3, Feb 10 and Feb 17.

FEBRUARY DIAPER DRIVE

Sarah Circle is having a February Diaper Drive. 

Peoples Resource Center in Westmont is in desperate need of children's diapers.  Families who acquire weekly supplies at PRC are allocated a handful of diapers at a time.

7th and 8th graders are invited to Onward Bound meetings, held on the following dates in 2013 from 6:30-8PM in Open Door.

Come support the youth by eating a fantastic dinner from 6-9PM on Tuesday, January 29th at the Mongolian BBQ in Bolingbrook grilled by our special guest grillers, including Jim McDonald, Bruce Ritter, Don Safford, Katie Kiss, and more!

Sunday evening fellowship starts up again on January 13th! Junior High meets in Open Door from 4-5PM, Senior High from 6-7PM. We'll meet the following dates this year:

If you are interested in joining FUMC, or learning more about the church, you are invited to attend one of two classes in January.

New members will be received into membership on Sunday, February 24 at the 11:00 a.m. service.
