Join us for six weeks of discussion and reflection as we learn about the last 24 hours of the life of Jesus. The goal is to help you better understand the events, see more clearly the theological significance of Christ's suffering and death, and reflect upon the meaning of these events in your life. The six sessions will be offered at 9:30 on Sunday mornings starting February 17, and ending on Palm Sunday, March 24.
We’re starting a 40’s/50’s group for individuals who are interested in socializing with people from church. We’ll be getting together in casual settings that will consist primarily of people’s homes. All you’ll need to do is bring yourself, your spouse, or a friend, and an appetizer and beverage to share with the group.

In the midst of the Iranian Hostage Crisis in 1979, six Americans manage to escape the takeover and seek refuge in the home of the Canadian Ambassador to Iran. Argo tells the story of their rescue, fraught with danger, tension, and potential for failure at every turn. Ben Affleck directed and starred in this multi-award-winning historical thriller.

A Lenten Bible study on "The Way – Walking in the Footsteps of Jesus," will be held on Wednesday afternoons, from 1:15-2:30, in Room 213, beginning February 20.
The Young at Heart group for senior adults will visit Spice Merchants, located at 5225 Main St., Downers Grove on Wednesday, March 13, meeting at 11am. This unique store carries spices and coffees and homemade blends that are difficult to find elsewhere. Samples will be given to us.
We will have lunch together at a local restaurant with each one paying for their own lunch.

The Youth Ministry Work Area meets once a month and is open to all youth involved in the church. We discuss various issues related to the Youth Ministry program. Each meeting is @ 12:15PM in Open Door.
