Unsure how to help when you see homeless individuals at traffic lights or at the train station? On May 21, our congregation will be making homeless care packages that may be kept in cars and handed to people at intersections. Pizza will be served as we enjoy a time of fellowship in the Gym, starting at 6pm, and assemble Ziploc bags full of helpful items.

During May we will collect the following items in the church parlor:

DGFUMC is getting ready to create a new photo directory and we need everyone to help make it complete!

Lifetouch will be here on March 4-8, March 11-15 and May 19-21 to take photographs of our church members. All participants will receive a complimentary 8x10 photo and a copy of the directory. Additional pictures may be ordered if desired.

All Senior High Youth (grades 9-12) are welcome to come and hang out! There's fellowship, bible study, and tons of games/fun.

All Youth (grades 6-12) are welcome to come and join us for a home cooked meal! Of course we will play a game or activity afterwards!

All Youth grades 6-8 are welcome to come and hang out! There's some free time, a bible lesson and lots of games!

The 43rd Annual Chapel Choir Tour will take place June 12-20. The destination of this year's Tour is Myrtle Beach, South Carolina. Rehearsals begin Saturday, April 5 at 10:00 a.m. in Fellowship Hall.

2014 Chapel Choir Tour Rehearsal Schedule

I can’t wait for the next Together @ 10 service on Sunday May 18th  The last time was so great!

Here’s what I did at our last “ONE” service:

• I brought a friend who wanted to hear the amazing music
• I served as a shepherd for a wonderful family who joined our church that day
• I made new friends at the pancake breakfast
• I was energized by the dynamic congregation who came together as ONE

What will you do to make May 18th special?  Bring a friend?  Make a friend?  Reconnect with an old friend?

All Youth are welcome to come for our final Lock In of the school year! Activities will likely be beach related. :)
