Are you looking for a new way to get involved at church?
S.O.S. - Share Our Skills will now be meeting on the THIRD Saturday of each month to tackle fix-it projects around the church. The group meets at 8:30 a.m. for coffee and then works from 9:00 to Noon.
Only have an hour that day? No problem, just stop in and stay as long as you can. Many hands make light work.

Bring a Snack and/or 2-Liter of Soda to Share!
Featuring: Glow-in-the-dark Capture the Flag
ALSO: Bring sleeping bag/pillow and sleeping mat/air mattress as we will be going horizontal by 3am

Lunch Bunch is a group of senior adults that meets monthly for a luncheon of good food and fellowship! All senior adults are welcome to join. This June the group will be traveling to Wheaton to the Seven Dwarfs Restaurant at 917 East Roosevelt Rd.
To register visit the Lunch Bunch table on Sunday in the parlor or call Bonnie Lehmann at 630.308.2259 to register and to organize a ride if needed.

Be sure to join us as we welcome the Celebration Singers Youth Choir from First UMC in Hurst, TX for a Thursday night concert on June 8. The Choir will also be joining us for our 8:30 a.m. worship service on Sunday, June 11.

The Downers Grove First United Methodist Church has adopted a section of St. Joseph Creek located north of Curtiss Street and east of Walnut Avenue about two miles west of our church property. On Saturday, May 20, we’ll gather to clean up the creek by picking up trash along the banks. Please mark your calendar to come and volunteer!
