Ignite Youth Group meets at 6-8pm in the Open Door Youth Center with snacks at 6:30pm.
This fall we are pleased to welcome back Osvaldo Vena as the leader of our Sunday morning bible study class. Rev. Vena, a member of our church, is a professor of New Testament Interpretation at Garrett-Evangelical Theological Seminary in Evanston.
All families are invited to a time of singing camp songs around a campfire on Saturday, October 21 from 6:00 - 7:30 p.m. in the Prayer Garden. Brian Crowther will play his guitar. Along with the singing, there will be pumpkin shaped cookies and apple cider.
The Adult Education work area is offering a Chess Class to adults only on Saturday mornings. Taught by Boyd Walthers, the class is for beginners and competitors alike. Please bring a chess set. All adults are welcome.
We once again have a unique opportunity to join together for a special one-day off-site S.O.S. mission trip on Saturday, October 21 to Berry United Methodist Church in Chicago.

Kay Mundy and Owen Bates will present our October film, The Social Network, a highly acclaimed 2010 biographical drama that tells the story of the founding of Facebook by Harvard undergrad Mark Zuckerberg.
