Sr. High Youth Bible Study, Wednesdays, 6pm

Grab some food and join us in the Youth Center as we go deeper into faith issues in God's Word.

We continue to encourage all women of our church to be a part of the UMW by either participating in one of the Circles that meet monthly or participating as a “general member." Plan to join us in fellowship at our annual Christmas Tea. This year the meeting and program will be in the evening to enable many of our working women to attend.

The First United Methodist Preschool is having an open house on Sunday, January 7 from 2:00 - 4:00 p.m. Prospective families can meet the teachers and board members, tour the classrooms and ask any questions they may have.

Ignite Youth Group meets at 6-8pm in the Open Door Youth Center with snacks at 6:30pm.

Ignite is for youth in grades 7-12

The UMW will host our annual holiday fundraiser bake sale on Sunday, December 3. Plan to stop by to purchase some tasty baked goods provided by our many Circle members. As always, the proceeds go towards the many mission projects, both local and global, supported by United Methodist Women. Your support is appreciated and you get to enjoy some tasty holiday goodies.

Life changes us over time along with our perspective of ourselves and our relationship with others. In this small group we will explore and discuss how our many-faceted self is changing and how we are meeting the demands of our new realities.

Meets on the second and fourth Mondays of the month in Westmont from 12:45 to 2:15 p.m. Led by Shelly Zabielski and Carol Lysne.

This fall we are pleased to welcome back Osvaldo Vena as the leader of our Sunday morning bible study class. Rev. Vena, a member of our church, is a professor of New Testament Interpretation at Garrett-Evangelical Theological Seminary in Evanston.

"Remembering the Goodness of God"

You are invited to share in an Ecumenical Thanksgiving Eve Worship Service Tuesday, November 21. The service will be held at Gloria Dei Lutheran Church. Please bring a new or gently used coat and/or canned goods for the FISH Food Pantry and a pie to share at the social following the worship service.
