S.O.S. - Share Our Skills meets on the THIRD Saturday of each month to tackle fix-it projects around the church. The group meets at 8:30 a.m. for coffee and then works from 9:00 to Noon.
Only have an hour that day? No problem, just stop in and stay as long as you can. Many hands make light work.

Violent convict Roman Coleman, an inmate at a rural Nevada prison, gets a chance to rehabilitate himself 
through participation in a therapy program involving the training of wild mustangs in this month’s film pick, The Mustang. With a history of domestic violence and uncontrollable anger, Roman seems an unlikely candidate for the program, especially when he is assigned to an especially difficult horse.
Lunch Bunch is a group of senior adults that meets monthly for a luncheon of good food and fellowship! All senior adults are welcome to join.
This November, the group will be visiting the Three Corners Grill & Tap, 7231 Lemont Road, Downers Grove.

Our Annual Church Charge Conference will be held Saturday, October 26 at 9:00 a.m. in the sanctuary. All church members are invited to attend as we celebrate our accomplishments from the current year and look forward to our year ahead. Rev. Jeffry Bross, our Aurora District Superintendent, will be presiding. All are invited!
The cooking team of Don Safford, Bill Chalberg, Susan Newman, and Ken Drogemuller will be back for a Home Cookin' meal. All are invited to join us for this special family meal between 5:00 - 6:30 p.m. This meal is always awesome and the fellowship is fantastic!
Our Confirmation Preparatory Program for 7th & 8th Grade students meets on Sundays this Fall and includes classes, modern worship services, local service projects, and fellowship events.

When you walk in the CROP Hunger Walk on Sunday, October 20, you are raising money to help fight hunger and also walking in solidarity with all of those people around the world who are walking for food, water, and firewood each day. Help us reach our goal of 50 walkers for the 50th CROP Walk!
Stop in the parlor on Sunday to sign up to walk or for a donation envelope. If you can't walk, consider sponsoring one of our pastors. Rumor has it that John Smoke said if we don't reach 50 walkers, he will carry a 50 lb. bag of cat litter during the walk! Let's help John out!!!!
