Friday Night at the Movies: South Pacific
Continuing with our “A Look at Genres” theme, the 1958 musical film South Pacific is our December offering. Accompanied by an outstanding Rogers and Hammerstein score, this timeless movie takes us back to World War II in the Pacific Islands, where Navy Ensign Nellie Forbush, RN, is romanced by the ex-patriot French planter Emile deBecque amid the tensions of the war with Japan, which approaches ever nearer to their island paradise.

The UMW Christmas Tea is open to all women from church. Come meet the new Mission Team 2012.
This year, we will be offering a tranquil opportunity to take a time-out from all the holiday activities. If you might be searching for that sense of inner peace amidst all the hustle and bustle of the holiday season, here is an opportunity to do so.
This annual event allows parents to get a few hours to themselves. It is for children from birth through 6th grade. Cost is $5 per family. Dinner and professional child care will be provided.
