The mission of this program is to bring children together for a lot of fun and fellowship in a church community. Every child is welcome. The 9th Annual Downers Grove Garden Walk will give you an opportunity to view some of the most beautiful gardens in the area. The Garden Walk is a fundraiser benefitting the Bridge Board of the Downers Grove First United Methodist Church. The Bridge Board is a program partner with Bridge Communities, a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization whose focus is to transform the lives of homeless families by guiding them to a better future.

Wednesday, July 8 at Noon
All senior adults are cordially invited to come to Chapel Hall on July 9 to enjoy a picnic of brats and hamburgers grilled by Don Safford. Each one attending is asked to bring a salad or dessert to share and to pay $8.00 to cover other costs. Attendees are encouraged to wear red, white and blue clothing. You may sign-up for this activity in the parlor on Sunday morning or by calling Marilou.
