Young at Heart will tour the Jurica-Suchy Nature Museum at Illinois Benedictine College located in Lisle, IL. Join us for a presentation on the history of the museum and a guided tour beginning at 10:00 a.m. Those interested in carpooling should meet in the church parking lot by 9:30 a.m. A luncheon at Country House Restaurant in Naperville will follow at 12:00 p.m.

Ever wish you knew more about the Bible? So do we! Join us for a brand new weekly bible study for women this fall. The group will meet from 9:00 -10:15 a.m. on Wednesday mornings.

This month, the group will discuss Good Chinese Wife by Susan Blumber-Kason, a stunning memoir of an intercultural marriage gone wrong. Blumber-Kason recounts her struggle to be the perfect traditional "Chinese" wife to her increasingly controlling and abusive husband.

Please read the book and come ready to share your thoughts!

Ignite Youth Group meets at 5-7pm in the Open Door Youth Center with a meal at 5:30pm

Jesus; His Life, Death and Resurrection will be an adult class offered at 9:30 a.m. on Sunday mornings, beginning September 13 and continuing through November 22.

The class, led by Del Hargreaves, will use the Gospel of Matthew in the Bible as its textbook. The sessions will cover: Birth, Baptism and desert experience; Early Ministry and the calling of the disciples; the ministry of Jesus; his arrest, trial, and crucifixion; and Resurrection.
