Service of Holy Communion
This service of hymns, prayers, scripture readings and a sermon is held in the Sanctuary, with special music performed by the Chancel Choir. All children from Kindergarten through 6th grade start in the Sanctuary for worship and follow Pastor Smoke to Sunday School after the Moment for Children. All 1st-3rd graders need to be signed-in on the sheets located just outside the sanctuary. Children may be picked up in rooms 212-218 following the service.
Service of Holy Communion
This service of hymns, prayers, scripture readings and a sermon is held in the Sanctuary, with music of a more contemporary flavor performed by the high school Chapel Choir. All children from Kindergarten through 6th grade start in the Sanctuary for worship and follow Pastor Smoke to Sunday School after the Moment for Children. Children are welcome to come forward to share in this special time. All 1st-3rd graders need to be signed-in on the sheets located just outside the sanctuary. Children may be picked up in rooms 212-218 following the service.
Service of Holy Communion
This service, which is in the intimate setting of the Heartt Memorial Chapel, consists of hymns, prayers, scripture readings, and a sermon. There is no Sunday School during this service.
Chancel Choir Cantata
On Sunday, April 15, the Chancel Choir will present their annual spring cantata. This year, they will perform The Holy Spirit Mass: Together in Hope, a wonderful choral work by the internationally renowned Norwegian composer, Kim André Arnesen, who writes music that combines touching simplicity with majestic power. The choir will be accompanied by a 17-piece string orchestra and guest singers.
