What's first in our lives and what's first for our church? Starting on Sunday, Septembe 29, we will be holding conversation groups in Room 202 after all three services where we invite you to share your ideas.

On Sunday, October 27, the Membership Work Area will host a luncheon for those interested in learning more about our Church and membership. Please join us in Chapel Hall at 12:15 p.m.

If you are interested in joining DGFUMC, or learning more about the church a new member class will be held in Chapel Hall on Sunday, October 27th after the 11:00am service. If you would like to attend the class please contact Pastor Jim or Pastor Greta at the church or Marilou Welch at 630.968.4136.

New members will be received into membership on Sunday, November 10th at the 9:30 a.m. service.

Strengthen Your Foundation of Faith This Fall

Are you interested in socializing with some the wonderful people from DGFUMC?  Then please join us at the next gathering of the 40's and 50's Group on October 26 at 7pm held at the home of Doug and Cindi Roselieb.  Please bring a beverage and appetizer to share and a guest who may be interested in attending our church.

The Annual Ignite Corn Maze Trip is coming!

The Youth Group will be heading to Jonomac’s Corn Maze on October 26th from 4:30-9:30pm. There will be permission slips and sign ups available in the parlor and in the church office.

This is a unique class that will engage with the Spirit through art, music, poetry, prayer, the written word, and discussion.

Beginning Thursday, September 19, this class will meet weekly at 10:00 a.m. in Room 206. Leader will be Carol Lysne, PhD.
