The Young at Heart group for senior adults has the following activities planned for the spring season. All senior adults are welcome to join in any or all of these activities.

Wednesday, March 11
A pizza lunch followed by a movie with popcorn. Meet at noon in Chapel Hall.

Wednesday, April 8
A sandwich lunch followed by a movie at noon in Chapel Hall.

This February the Foundations class will begin exploring Part 2 of the Methodist Identity: Our Beliefs. This course focuses on the doctrines that make Methodists distinctive and features insights from leading Methodist theologians concerning core Wesleyan ideas. This course will benefit lifelong Methodists and those coming to Methodism from other traditions.

Saturday, April 4
9:00 a.m.

All children ages 3-12 are invited to hop on over to hunt for eggs inside DGFUMC! Bring the entire family and a friend or two and enjoy refreshments and fellowship following the hunt. The fun begins at 9:00 a.m. so don't be late!

Please join us on Saturday mornings for a new Men’s Group. All men are invited to attend as we work through Adam Hamilton’s 24 Hours That Changed the World. We meet weekly in Chapel Hall and refreshments and coffee are served.

During this solemn Tenebrae Service, the Chancel Choir sings reflective, somber anthems, the lights dim and candles are extinguished as the last words of Christ are read and His death is imminent. The service ends in silence and darkness.

At these Maundy Thursday communion services we will commemorate the Last Supper when Jesus shared the Passover meal with his disciples on the night before he was crucified.
