Do you want to keep your mind steady amidst the Christmas shopping fever? Are you struggling to remember what this season is actually about? It can be nuts out there and we hear ya.
Why not take a pause and join the Women’s Bible Study group this December for a four-week Advent study? Beginning Wednesday, November 30, at 9:00 a.m. in Room 213, the group will gather to chat, pray, laugh and remember what Advent is truly about.
Participants should stop by the church office and pick up a copy of the book, Prepare the Way: Cultivating a Heart for God in Advent, by Pamela C. Hawkins. Books cost $9. The daily readings begin the first day of Advent, Sunday, November 27, so we recommend you purchase the book ahead of time. The study will be facilitated by Pastor Greta McDonald and Maggie Roth.
